Oo a question I actually want to answer!

This is difficult, as usually I tend to focus on songs rather than albums, but here are a top ten of reasonably firm goodens.

1. MGMT Oracular spectacular- Catchy, easy to dance to, good lyrics, party beats... This is classic, I love it! I've seen MGMT twice now, once at Glastonbury festival and the other time last weekend, at Bristol Carling academy!

2. David Bowie-Ziggie stardust- It's difficult to pick a best Bowie album, so other than one of his greatest hit compilations I picked this. Ziggy stardust and star man, classics =)

3. Hair the musical the album-How could you not like such show tunes as 'I've got life', 'Dawning of aquarius', 'Let the sunshine the flesh failures', 'Good morning starshine', 'Hair' and 'Hare Krishna'. Happy and hippie.

4. Hedwig and the angry inch album. Wig in the box, midnight radio and origin of love are powerful, emotive, beautiful songs. End of.

5. Various positions by Leonard Cohen. Great songs with great lyrics, but my favorite is of course 'Hallelujah'

6. Want one by Rufus Wainwright-another tough decision, but a musical genius raised in a musical family has produced lovely melodies and lyrics.

7. Placebo 1996-I just love 'every me and every you', 'nancy boy' and 'pure morning'. Some of the remixes are pretty good to.

8. Red hot chilli peppers-by the way- for 'by the way', 'zephyr song', 'can't stop' and just about every other song on this album XD

9. Radiohead's in rainbows- I love jigsaw falling into place and nude. Was tough to decide between this and some of their older albums though.

10. Fat boy slim- better living through chemistry-clubby classics, praise you, right here right now etc

I wish I could add more to this list... Bob Dylan, Jimmie Hendrix, Bob Marley, artic monkeys, Asha Bhosle, Nirvana, A.R.Ramen... heck, even Britney Spears.
